Music Video Script Video Title: VIDEO AUDIO LYRICS / NARRATION / MUSIC / FX 1. 0:00 – 0:30–Extreme wide shot of Strangeways prison- Manchester for 5 seconds, fade to close up ( music starts) of lead singer laying on cell bed, singing the introduction to the song.(A pan of the building then a fast zoom into it as if someone is pulling you in) Lying on my cell bed thinking what my father said lying on my cell bed thoughts going through my head. What if there’s no way out now, what if my life’s mapped out now, what if they know where I’ve what if they know all my sins, I can’t wait. Music starts at 5 seconds after wide shot with no interruption. For the first 5 seconds on the wide shot of the prison there will be a wind effect heard. Lead singer lay on bed singing the introduction in a prison cell 2. 0:30 – 1:00 – After lead singer finishes introduction cut to mid shot of him with a bass and mic in a dark cell singing the 1st verse and cut to other members of band playing their individual instruments in individual cells. I’m gonna put the knife in, I can’t wait, I’m gonna put the knife in a Holiday to that strangeways hotel. Some people call it hell im gonna take it one step higher, I’m gonna set the place on fire. Uninterrupted music No FX Each member of band playing their individual instruments 2

Music Video Script VIDEO AUDIO LYRICS / NARRATION / MUSIC / FX 3. 1:00 – 1:30 – Cut to bird’s eye view shot of the cell in black and white like a security camera and the lead singer then sets the cell on fire and then carry’s on singing(gets his face right against the security camera and breaks it making it go to pov of guard) You were always telling me that me and you were just a fling, Well it’s all in the name, you dealt me those cards the ones I’ve had from the start. Ignition of fire sound effects and crackling of fire Music plays uninterrupted Lead man sets cell on fire because in the lyrics it says ‘im gonna set the place on fire’ 4. 5. 1:30 – 2:00 - Cut to each member of band at midshot as their cells ignite (shot outside of cell as if guard is looking at them)and they carry on playing for the whole 30 seconds. The camera cuts to each member at 5 seconds intervals.(before showing all members shows prisoners such as drug dealers and murderers even a strange clown) 2:00 – 2:30 - Wide shot of corridor cell doors fling open with flames spewing out each member walks out they are followed by a camera on a tracking system. I know man I know man Fire crackling sound effects Music Throughout Each members cell sets on fire and they carry on performing Instrumental Sound effects of fire crackling and metal doors hitting the wall Music uninterrupted All 4 members door flings open and walk down the prison corridor. 6. 2:30 – 3:00 –(running down corridor slow motion effect)All 4 members walk down the corridor with midshot with a track going backwards and then cut to close up of lead singer still walking Instrumental Fire crackling Music uninterrupted They walk down the corridor and escape from the prison. 3

All 4 members are seen in the back ground running away with their instruments in hand.(they are on the roof of the building planning their escape via plane) Instrumental Wind Music uninterrupted the fade out Prison carries on burning and Band escapes 4
