• Formed in 1946, as a dairy cooperative movement in India
• A brand managed by a cooperative body, the Gujarat Co-
operative Milk Marketing Federation(GCMMF)
• Jointly owned by 3 million milk producers in Gujarat
• Amul Spurred the White Revolution of India, which has
made India the largest producer of milk and milk products
in the world.

• GCMMF has written and re-written rules of the game
• Amul butter girl is one of the longest running add

• Duration of internship - 1st may to 31st may
• Approached 10 sellers on a daily basis for marketing of the
products
• Helped sales increase from 2000 units to 2500 units per
day
• The overall sale of fresh bakery(bread) was more than dry
bakery (cookies) by 300 units approximately
