- 3. Introduction This project work is based on online admission of student in Brightland College. The computerization is based on how to make the admission process fast, efficient, accurate and more convenient. Many problems are encountered in manual system. Considering those problems, solutions are begin to them in order to minimize them. Through this project we are able to digitalize the student information of Brightland College. The system seems to be very helpful and is saving lot of time and effort in the organization for managing the students. Problem Statements: • Paperwork and Manual Processes. • Difficult in managing the forms. • High chance of error due to manual entry. • Payment of fees. 3

- 5. Objectives The main objectives of the projects are given below: • To minimize the problem encountered during the manual system. • To build a web application that allows to admit new students. • To be able to record payment during admission process via Esewa. 5
- 6. Literature Review • The aim of Online Admission System is to build a student registration system that will be completely automated the process of new student registration in a university. Specifically system are implemented for faciliting complex manual processes and that is exactly what we are trying to achive our system implement as per user requirement. Our system will be handle document-submission, testing process and registration of new student. The system will be web based and will have two modules i.e. (user) student and admin when student wish to enroll in the university. (Wale, 2022) 6
- 7. • In last two decades several educational institutes have started gaining momentum while many of them are in self financing mode. Every institute wants to have good student strength to allow a smooth academic session. This paper proposes the use of machine learning techniques in educational domain to enhance the quality of student admissions in any higher educational institute. The focus of this paper is to identify those admissions inquires which most likely to turn into actual admissions. The result of analysis will assist the academic planners to focus their efforts on the set of students that are likely to take admission in the institution after initial enquiry. (Sushruta Mishra, 2017) 7
- 8. • College Admission Management System is a web-based application in which students can register and it manages all the student records. It is an online system that can be accessed throughout the organization. This system stores the list of students along with the relevant information. With this system the total time for the entrance allotment became lesser and the admission process became faster. College Admission Management System helps to make the admission process much easier and helps in maintaining the database in efficient way. (Kolakoti, 2022) 8
- 9. • In today’s time, instead of advanced technology still all the admission process whether it may be the college or school admission it is being carried out manually using paper and pen which is very inefficient and utilizes much efforts and time. In today’s technology where computers are being used everywhere, they are being used as an alternative to pen and paper. The database can store more information about users in less space and in very less time. The solution behind this is web- based online admission and examination system. This system stores the details of students such as fee details, document details, admission and examination details etc. This Student Database has been designed considering the practical needs to manage Students data. (Gunjan Chauhan, 2019) 9
- 10. • The main aim of this paper is to design a software through which online admissions are made easy. With the help of this software the admission process is made simple.Online admission process is the best suitable process for the present generation. Now a day’s people who use mobile and internet is high. So the students feel that online application process is convenient for them to apply. Through the college website the students can find all the information regarding the college. They can find each and every process of the online admission clearly. In case if they are not able to proceed with the application process the administration contact details are provided in the website through which the student can contact the college and get it clarified. It is also easy for the college to store the records of the students. This research paper concludes by saying that online admission is the suitable and easy for the students to access. - 20. Conclusion This summer project has been very helpful for us as it has provided us the opportunities to gain a practical knowledge about the current organization at the real time. Things that needs to be considered while performing a certain task in the organization were also learnt while preparing this project report. The summer project gave me a necessary information about the organization. With all the learning and knowledge, the project has been successfully completed with the set of the defined objectives in time. I can say that the project has helped me to improve my skill, learning and knowledge. The report presents all the activities, processes, methods, approach followed from requirement gathering from the organization to preparing the complete system. 20
