Analysis of camera shots, existing videos.
- 1. In this music video of āNoel Gallagherāsā I really like the transition shots he has used. The three shots above are all present in the same second of the music video ā0:24ā, and it goes from the normal colour of the shot to a sweep of orange looking filter, which kind of resembles fire and then flickers into a orange screen and back again, it gives the illusion of the picture being reborn.
- 2. Also in this music video of āNoel Gallagher'sā i really like the words that corresponds with the words in the song, certain words in the song he expressed with a visual image of them at the same time that they appear, dream being one of the mains ones as it matches with the message of the song. The use of the colour changes and pull focus makes it more interesting and puts emphasis on it like he must have intended.
- 3. Something also found In this music video of āNoel Gallagherāsā, that I intend to use in my own video is is constant message writing. Throughout the video we see flashbacks to someone writing, and at the end it pans out and we see the full message.
- 4. This establishing shot of a women in front of a river with the light out of focus I think gives a really nice effect to the beginning of the music video. As the video starts it pans in to this shot and the title of the song appears on screen. There is also a grainy filter on the screen, this also gives a nice effect to give the audience a instant feel of the video .
