The Challenge • with HANA we have the chance to establish analytical features for Fiori apps • some use cases: – aggregation of all relevant data associated to a business object – exploratory data analysis • SAP has different frameworks for charting – Overview Page – Analysis Path Framework – Smart Business for Analytical Fiori Apps which has own charts but also can use APF
- 3. The Main Idea • All data are in memory so we can perform flexible slicing and dicing • APF allows to define cubes from OData sources by configuration – no coding required • An analysis path defines a slicing and dicing operation using filters
