Analyzing the Attitude of Students Towards Robots when Lectured on Programming by Robotic or Human Teachers

This study analyzed students' attitudes towards robots when receiving a programming lecture from either a human or robot teacher. Students completed the Negative Attitude towards Robots Scale (NARS) and Robot Anxiety Scale (RAS) questionnaires after the lecture. Results found most students did not feel very nervous around the robot and were not overly worried about robots' future role or emotions. Younger students reported slightly higher levels of worry interacting with and communicating with robots compared to older students. Overall, the study found students generally had neutral to positive attitudes towards receiving a programming lecture from a robot teacher.
