Android OS was created by Rich Miner, Nick Sears, and Andy Rubin and was first released by Google Inc. in 2008. It is an open-source operating system used by all flagship and cheap phones from companies like LG, Samsung, and Google's own Pixel phones. Android offers customization, improved AI assistance, and file management features as pros, but downloading outside of Google Play and rooting your phone can increase security risks and void the warranty as cons.
