This document summarizes a research paper that proposes a new method for controlling parallel inverters using a synchronous reference frame virtual impedance loop. The proposed method aims to provide faster response and better current sharing accuracy compared to conventional droop control methods. It uses a synchronous reference frame virtual impedance loop and phase locked loop, rather than calculating active and reactive power. This avoids issues with droop control such as slow response times due to power calculation filters and sensitivity to line impedances. The control principle and performance analysis are examined through mathematical modeling and experimental testing of a parallel inverter system.
