This course teaches skills for providing initial help to fellow students experiencing issues like depression, anxiety, psychosis, substance abuse, eating disorders, and associated crises. The certificate notes that to become an Accredited Mental Health First Aider, Betty Kitchener must also complete the additional 4-hour face-to-face component of the course.
