A survey of 500 small businesses with mobile apps and websites found that 73% reported higher returns on investment from apps compared to 27% for websites. Customers also preferred apps over websites, with 85% preferring apps for finding new businesses and 86% for repeat customers. However, 81% said both apps and websites are equally important. Push notification open rates were also significantly higher than email marketing open rates.
