Promote the utilization of WebQuests within the nursing curriculum Identify the educational principles and cognitive activities available to be utilized within a nursing context Incorporate WebQuests in F2F and online nursing courses as part of a constructivist and cooperative learning environment
WebQuests are a prescribed set of activities which encourage learners to engage in inquiry Promote higher-order, critical thinking which encourage analysis, synthesis and evaluation Expose students to variety of contexts and perspectives within collaborative learning to promote reflection, interaction and group dynamics Encourages students to expand knowledge base and research skills
