Arup IDEA Introduction
- 2. Arup IDEA is about ideation and value creation that leverages Arup’s domain expertise and instinct for collaboration with and amongst our clients, partners, and civil society organizations.
- 3. To start, ask yourself: “What IDEA could transform my community for the better in the next 10 years, which needs some help or hasn’t been considered yet?”
- 4. Inspire Develop Engage Act1 2 3 4 Innovative project ideas are generated Ideas are developed with help from Arup’s industry-leading subject matter experts Ideas form a proof of concept which can shape further explorations or a future project Ideas are delivered
- 5. IDEAs should inspire by Offering something new Creating value for the community Being a good fit for Arup’s total architecture approach Aligning with Arup’s values for sustainable development Strengthening relationships and building new ones
- 6. and can be an additional piece of work on an existing project IDEAs can be big or small or an entirely new project
- 7. IDEAs will be reviewed by members of Arup’s Core IDEA team Inspire Develop Engage Act
- 8. The IDEA Program Manager will pair winning IDEAs with technical experts to develop a proof of concept and carry the IDEA forward Inspire Develop Engage Act
- 9. The IDEA will be delivered or used for future inspiration Global leaders in strategy and technical advice will be on call as the delivery team acts Communication and engagement will be maintained throughout the process Inspire Develop Engage Act
