• Monitoring movement of parts, supplies and materials; ensuring that supplies, materials and products are shipped and received
on schedule

o Manufacturing engineering of Wiper, EFM & BLOWER MOTOR – machining, sub assembly & assembly included packing
department
o Daily basis scheduling of machine shop, sub assembly & assembly department
o Load planning of factory consist of machining, sub assembly & assembly department
o Tracking action for the availability of raw materials and the other resources for the production
Process Enhancement & Cost Control
• Implementing:
o JIT activities in the organization to ensure that there is little or no manufacturing material inventory on hand at the
manufacturing site
o Cost saving techniques / measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in operation & maintenance
expenditures
o Stringent safety practices and maintaining good safety records
• Establishing, maintaining and improving production plans and manufacturing schedules
• Designing of jigs & fixtures for manufacturing support to machining, sub assembly & assembly
• Involved in documentation & conduction for manufacturing lesson learned or continuous improvements for higher productivity
• Rendering:
o Industrial engineering expertise for production operations - work content estimation, line balancing, ergonomic evaluation
of jobs, value added per hour & lean manufacturing methods to improve productivity
o Process engineering support to production planning - operations sequencing
o Support for plant focus on productivity, ergonomics, and layouts
• Conducting:
o Audits to drive continuous improvements
o VSM & VE at workshop to reduce wastages, rework, rejection & non value added activity in entire manufacturing process
o Capacity simulation to support plant operations to optimize production plans and reduce operating costs
Quality Control
• Responsible for:
o Improving quality / productivity / reliability at manufacturing with continual improvement
o Maintaining quality standards and implementing stringent quality control systems viz. Poka Yoke, Kaizen
o Reducing rejection level through continuous up gradation of quality circles to observe better compliance in line with
changing customer requirements
Team Management
• Leading, motivating & training a team of 225 work forces in 3 shifts with 15 graduate engineers
• Organizing training internal/external programs viz. OJT trainings based on the training need analysis to elevate the skills &
productivity of employees
• Handling employee grievances and ensuring timely resolutions of the same

• Successfully executed KANBAN System (TPS) in the organization with focus on maintaining an orderly & efficient flow of
materials throughout the entire manufacturing process
