Quick Questions
People who feel that
they need more clarity in
the fashion choices that
they make to always be
happy and comfortable.
Problem ?!
Who benefits in
your app ?
Key insight statements
We think that this app will successful, as many people might
not feel confident in what they wear and feel that they need
this extra help just to make sure that they are always
comfortable.
As the results change everyday, due to the weather, the
people will always be comfortable and we wearing the correct
thing to that they can keep warm on the cold days, or get a
tan on the hot days.
With this app all people can be comfortable with
their clothes and enjoy the day.
Pitch
Our team, A.S.K, is developing a fashion
app to help everyone, who all have a range
of different needs, and help them feel
comfortable with their clothes, and be
prepared for the weather of the day.
Some users will have the choice to pay, if they want
to have more suggestions and fashion tips, but we
are certain that they prices will not be high. They will
be the correct prices for what they will receive. We
are sure that our app will be successful so we want
to make as much money as possible and if users are
willing to pay then they can.
Users
There are other fashion app on offer, however
most of these are for buying clothes online or
fashion games. We are assured that our app is
original and attractive to everyone and will
appeal to them. . There is nothing like our app-
quirky and original.
Competition
MVP- Minimum Viable Product
Our app’s main feature, that will attract everyone to purchase
it, is that it helps boost confidence. It has a weather forecast
programmed into it and therefore it makes it decisions based
on always being comfortable. These core features will shine
out and help everyone feel happy and comfortable with what
they are wearing.
Flow of app & user feedback
integrated
Due to asking people of all different
age groups about what they think
about our app, we have made a few
changes. At first, we were going to
make the app free, but then we didn’t
think that we would make much profit,
so we asked the them if they would
pay for the app, and most of them said
they wouldn’t. So we finally agreed that
that some users could pay if they
wanted to.

We do think that this app has a potential to be a success
as we are sure that many people are not always confident
in what they wear and maybe need more help with their
self-esteem. With the help of this app, not only will it help
people with their fashion, but also with their confidence.
They will also be100% comfortable in their clothes as our
app also decides on what clothes you should wear based
on the weather forecast, as well as your personal test. If
the weather is hot then you should wear shorts, however if
its cold then you should wear a warm coat. The app has a
built in weather forecast, so this is how it makes some of
the clothing decisions.
Feasibility
We are going to make our customers only pay for some of the
limited edition quizzes or pictures. To the public the app is free
to download, but if users want to have more, then they will
have to pay. We think that this will work fine, and we will get a
profit.

Editor's Notes

  • #2: A title slide describing the name of the app, the team name and the names of team members and possibly a logo, if you have one already
  • #3: What is the background situation you are addressing? Describe the context users are experiencing. Example: Buzzer Buddiez: Who? Students What? Students are studying for exams When? 7am Where? Student dorm Why? Late night cramming, student likely to oversleep
  • #4: What specific problem do people encounter in that situation? Use the results from your user research Examples: Buzzer Buddiez: your alarm does not work and you are thus late for: school, work, exams, doctor etc Transit: Many parents don’t speak English and their children have to translate the feedback that a teacher provides. When the feedback is negative students mistranslate. Oyster on the Go: You don’t remember how much money you have left on your pay-as-you-go Oyster card and run out of credit when you urgently need to get on a train Cattle Manager: You need to run backwards and forwards between the office and your cows, taking notes on paper and wasting time or loosing notes
  • #5: What core question are you addressing with the app? Examples: Buzzer Buddiez: how can you avoid oversleeping? Transit: how can negative teacher feedback be translated accurately? Oyster on the Go: how can you be more aware of how much credit you still have on your Oyster card? Cattle Manager: how can you keep track of injections for your cows while you are out and about looking after them?
  • #6: Use your key insights statements from your findings during Scoping to provide evidence that your app is solving a genuine problem in a different way for users. Examples: Buzzer Buddiez: you wake up to hit snooze/ switch off the alarm, but don’t get up. Friends and family i.e. social pressure can help to push you to actually get out of bed. Transit: parent- teacher conferences are not open-ended conversations. You can map the key areas of negative feedback around attendance, behaviour, results etc. to bridge the conversation between parents and teachers. Oyster on the Go: Oyster travel data can already be accessed online, the key trick is to make it easily accessible on the go. Cattle Manager: You can keep a simple record of your actions on your phone
  • #7: To introduce the judges to your team and the product, include your final min elevator pitch here. Example: - Buzzer Buddiez: Our team, [Buzzer Buddiez], is developing [a mobile app] to help [students] [who have studied late and are likely to oversleep because they hit snooze on their alarm clock] [to wake up on time with the help from friends and family]
  • #8: Summarise what you have learnt about your users. Remember, these profiles must be based on the real users you interviewed during scoping.
  • #9: Summarise what other solutions or alternatives you have found that already exist in the market and explain why they don’t fully solve the problem you are looking at or why your proposed solution is better.
  • #10: Give an overview of your app’s core feature and your MVP user stories.
  • #11: Show here what your MVP will look like in terms of flow and if/ how you have already integrated any user feedback.
  • #12: Show here what your MVP will look like in terms of the key wireframes of your app’s core feature.
  • #13: Show here what your MVP will look like in terms of the key wireframes of your app’s core feature.
  • #14: Show here what your MVP will look like in terms of the key wireframes of your app’s core feature.
  • #16: Summarise what you have learnt about data, content and technical feasibility. This is crucial, if your product relies heavily on any of these areas. If your product does not rely on them heavily, please explain why. This will show that your team has really understood feasibility well.
  • #17: Outline the three core marketing activities you planned and how you are going to reach your specific users in a targeted, simple, social, scarce and cheap way.
