- 3. Narrative Performance • At start of the video we will show three friends walking, they go to sit down on a bench, under the bench they find a box, under the bench they find a box, when the open the box they come across a futuristic mask, one of the friends then puts the mask on and they are taken to their own paradise/ ideas of enjoyment. • The characters facial expressions and actions suggest to the friends and the audience that they are having fun and that he is enjoying his experience, one of the friends snatches the helmet and the same thing happens to him. • The final friend then snatches the helmet and the same thing happens to him. • For our narrative the artist will be styled depending on the activity they are participating in or the location they are in. • Most of the narrative will be shot in first person, with a variety of cinematic and establishing shots • The performance element of the video will be shot In a forest with a variety of different coloured smoke in the back ground. • We will use a variety of shots in order to make this base track interesting, and we hope the variety of colour will allow us to make the performance more interesting and 'bring the performance to life' • For the performance part of our video our artist will be wearing a puffer jacket, skinny jeans, trainers and t shirt.

USP and possible Locations • Our USP in this video will be the fact that most of the video will be shot in first person, we believe that this is a unique selling point as it is something original and that something that is not done a lot in music videos. Narrative Performance • At the start of the video the audience will see a group of friends preparing for a camping trip, the start of the video will show the group purchasing firewood. • The narrative will then show all the antics before, for example all the boys packing and putting their stuff in the car. • During their car journey the car breaks down and they are forced to set up camp where they are(turns out to be the perfect location) • The boys then set up camp and sit around the camp fire. • The general idea of the narrative is teenagers having fun with their friends and not caring where they are as long as they are together. • The styling of the teenagers in this element of the video will be casual jeans and a hoody or sweatshirt. • The performance element of the video will be taken around the camp fire. • For this base track we wish to use a variety of shots for example establishing shots in order to make this aspect of the video interesting. • The artist will be styles in jeans, boots and be wearing a parka fur hood coat, as we believe it relates to the target audience of our video (teenagers)

Narrative Performance • At the start of the video 2 people (from the same sex)are caught holding hands by a group of other people, the group take a picture of it. • The pictures of shown around school and people are laughing and pointing at the two people. • Audience are shown both people alone crying and being angry. • The audience are then shown the two people together being happy and laughing (putting the bullying behind them and not caring what happens when its just them two) • The person who takes the picture at the start of the video sees this and realises how happy they are together, he approaches them and the couple look scared but the bully shakes their hand and apologies for what he has done. • The styling of the two characters will be in a typical winter costume, hat, gloves, scarf and a coat. • The performance element of the video will be taken in a dark room, with lighting being shined on one side of the artists face. • The artist will be wearing a shirt and tie in the part of the video.

- 14. USP • For this idea we thought a suitable USP would be the artists shirt and tie as we believe it can we can vary the colours of the shirt and tie to match colours of the rainbow (the gay symbol).
