- 2. INTRODUCTION Many students consider taking time off prior to starting a graduate or post graduate program. Taking time off can allow you to develop professional maturity, build your experience, and explore a field you have always been interested in. Before searching for PG opportunities you need to evaluate a few things 1. How much time are you planning on taking off? When do you hope to start a graduate program? 2. Why are you interested in specific graduate program or field of study? What are your career goals with the graduate degree 3. What types of post graduate experience will allow you to gain additional skills / experience that will strengthen your graduate school application.

CONTENT Based on our individual circumstances there are multiple possibilities are given below Research opportunities Research opportunities can often be generated on your own by contacting faculty members at colleges and universities or investigation research being done at companies in your field of interest. You need to be willing to move beyond only searching for posted opportunities. Networking can be extremely important when trying to move into a research position. Public Service Opportunities Many students find success directly contacting a non-profit agency or NGO that interests them, or networking with people who are working in a specific area of interest to learn more opportunities available. These organizations generally do not have a lot of funds for advertising their openings and typically do not have the staff of funds available for travel to campus to meet with the student.

Industry-post graduate opportunities There are many extent full time job opportunities in a variety of that will allow you to develop different skills sets, experience working with others in a professional work environment and build your knowledge in specific fields. CONCLUSION There are so many careers possibilities of trained graduate and post graduate students. But the students do not aware about the jobs. Also the students are not well trained for appearing interviews for jobs. The awareness about the importance of training should known by each student.
