- 1. ASSURE Method Assignment: ! For this assignment, we were given a choice of a few different classroom situations. These instances were made up, and some were rathe intense, but they were all things that you could come across as an educator. We were to make a lesson plan using the ASSURE Method of organization. ! ASSURE Method Assignment Reflection: ! I had never heard of the ASSURE Method before. Neither had I had any experiences with it in the past. At first I had trouble understanding what exactly it was. I had to really get in to working with it, in order for it to make any sense. The level of depth that you go into while doing the ASSURE method, makes sure that you are paying very close attention to detail. This in turn, creates a lesson plan that will work best for helping your students. This assignment would most definitely fall under the 21st century education pillar of critical thinking. I say this mostly because in this assignment, the more abstractly you can think, the better. The more ideas that you have as ways to present a topic to your students the better. I will be able to use this method in my own career as well. The ASSURE Method creates a lesson plan that helps you give your students all that they would need. It helps you see weaknesses in parts of a lesson. And it helps you prepare for unplanned conditions, making sure, you will always have a quality lesson for your students.
