- 5. AUTOMATION Our world is getting digital and with digitisation all the topics mentioned in the previous slide are revolutionary and can change the world. Still the topics which are of utmost importance are:- IOT :- IOT has immense potential with accessories contacted to Internet can be accessed from anywhere in world which is ultimate form of Remote Automation. Home Automation :- With the urgent need of Energy Conservation home automation would be prove to be a boon for mankind.Automobile Automation :- With time our speed has increased, but with this increased speed, the speed risk has also increased at large scale. So, there is a need of more advanced and safe vehicle which can eliminate the risk without compromising with speed. Even a driverless car would not be a surprise !Robotics :- With advancement in field of Artificial Intelligence the dream of a fully automated self learning Robot that can replicate humans may turn true.
- 6. AREAS OF INTEREST I find myself a lot interested in embedded systems and have undergone a good training and have carried a number of projects in this regard. Based on my experience I would choose to work in topics mentioned in lower leaves. My first choice would be home automation based on IOT. As I am very much fascinated in this regard specially after exploring RaspberryPi. The idea of having a mail every time someone enters or knocks your door, getting the lights, A.C.s , Geysers ‘ ON or OFF ’ from office etc. would be a time as well as energy saving project. I would also be Pleased to work in projects based on Automobile automation, Swarm Robotics and Security system based Embedded projects
