This document discusses an action research project using iPads at a college. It aimed to have tutors from different departments take a course on using iPads for learning and then introduce iPads into their classrooms. They would then meet to share activities and discuss lessons learned. The project set up a class set of 8 iPads and provided 6 tutors with personal iPads for research purposes. The tutors agreed to take part in interviews about their experiences. The college's strategic plan included developing innovative teaching and learning as well as embedding e-learning into all curriculum areas.
