Written exam is not suitable to assess the skill acquirement. So need to find alternative evaluation tools for it. - 6. •Written, oral and practical exams are being used for evaluation of the students. Generally the knowledge is evaluated with these tools. Rating scales also used in oral and practical exams which prove insufficient to evaluate skills and performance precisely. - 13. Features of Quality Rubrics • Rubrics should be task specific rubrics. • Task analysis should be done thoroughly to find out the criteria of the tasks. Number of criterion should be appropriate to the evaluation. • Descriptors should be written precisely and in observable terms. • Terms that are used to describe the performance levels should be selected carefully. These terms should be indicating the mastery and should be selected from a particular field. e.g. good-better-best • Scores given should be in justified manner and spread on equal distance from each other. e.g 1.2.3.4, 2-4-6-8 1/4/2018 13www.sureshisave.in
