This study analyzes the behavioral intentions of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Sri Lanka regarding the adoption of cloud computing, utilizing the Diffusion of Innovation (DOI) and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) as theoretical frameworks. Data collected from 256 IT executives reveals that three factors—relative advantage, compatibility, and complexity—significantly influence the intention to adopt cloud computing. The research applies quantitative methods including exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis to validate its findings.
