                                               What a small world we live in. I have met Alpha Sigma Taus around the world
                                               - literally. I met fellow Alpha Sigma Tau sisters on transatlantic flights thanks
                                               to wearing my comfy letters. I wore my badge one Founder’s Day and found
                                               three sisters at my work place. My most memorable encounter was on a fam-
                                               ily vacation at Disney World with my kids and my parents. My mom says in
                                               the middle of Disney’s Main Street USA, “A-E-T” (Okay, she’ll never get it),
                                               “wasn’t that your sorority?” She then points over to another mom wearing an
                                               Alpha Sigma Tau jacket! We even did the secret handshake (I always wanted
                                               to do that to someone I didn’t know!). So, for this edition of THE CREST,
                                               we’d like for you (alumna or collegiate) to leave a reply to this question:

                                                 A    lpha Sigma Tau will host nearly 350 participants at the 2009 Officer
                                                      Academy June 19-21, 2009 at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.
                                                 The focus of the 2009 OA is to provide opportunities for innovation in the

                                                 cate with candidates their required attendance at the 2009 OA. Also, be sure to
                                                 plan for travel and registrations fees in your upcoming budget cycle.
