Media technologies were used extensively throughout the project. A blog was created to document the production process and share resources like PowerPoints and brainstorms. Online research included watching short films on sites like YouTube to understand conventions and reading film magazines and reviews. A storyboard was created in Final Cut Pro to plan the short film. The film was shot with a high-definition camera and edited in Final Cut Pro. GarageBand was used to create the soundtrack. The film was uploaded to YouTube for audience feedback. Posters were designed in Photoshop and the magazine article was written in Word.
