This document provides an overview of a beginner's workshop on blogging in the classroom. The workshop will introduce blogging and how it can be used in education, allow participants to start their own blog, and provide advice and resources to help educators get started with blogging. Participants will learn about class blogs, student blogs, teacher blogs, and be encouraged to make blogging a regular part of their classroom routine and involve parents and administrators.

- #7: Class blogs – used for communicating the activities of the class. Inquiry units, special experiences etc. A window into the classroom.
- #8: Students to keep a portfolio of their work. Categorise into subjects, personal areas of interest etc. ‘Their own space online’

- #10: Step by step process through setting up blogs. Edublogs best because with a Pro account, you have full control over the student blogs you can create through ‘your class’. Restrictions can be relaxed over time as you go through cyber safety education and the kids get experience. Its OZ based, so that’s cool.
