- 1. BRIEFING – 4th Edition
- 2. INTRODUCTION – DESIGN IT! Design it! is a design competition with the goal to create the next Leysin CHAMPS Open poster. The Leysin Champs Open is a – Winter Freestyle Festival – held in March 2014 (13 to 16) in Leysin. This happening is the direct evolution of Europe's oldest still running Snowboard Competition which has over the years transformed into a veritable showcase of Snowboarding, Freesking and Skateboarding complemented by a full Musical Program with live concerts & DJ’s as well as Urban Art by the way of this competition and live performances during the event. On the sports side, some radical innovations are planned for the 2014 edition: - 6 freestyle film productions (3 Snowboard and Freeski 3) will be welcomed in Leysin for 10 days to shoot images for their forthcoming films in 2014. These images will be presented to the public on site in Leysin but also via multiple social networks. Everybody is welcome to vote as part of the judging process and a global prize purse U$ 30’000 will be distributed amongst the films. - These six productions will be accompanied by their staring riders who will be present for a big show on the slopes in Leysin - The 15th & 16th of March. It will also be the opportunity for up and coming riders to take part in an open competition where the best riders in each discipline (Snowboard & Freeski) will be invited to participate in one of the next film shoots for the following film.

CONCEPT: - The design must clearly identify the event– Leysin Champs Open. - The public must understand exactly what the event is about - The CHAMPS is 1 event based on 3 main pillars: FREESTYLE – MUSIC – ART. - The CHAMPS is a unique event in its own right. On the slopes In the resort – The Place to Be Competition area showcasing the local snowpark and halfpipe A welcoming après-ski location in the heart of the resort village. Competition totally visible from the CHAMPS on snow village. Beautiful view overlooking Lake Geneva Music Showcase - concerts - DJ's - evenings - clubbing Resident artists decorate the party and concert locations Easily accessible by ski, snowboard or by foot Live Art Performances
- 4. THEME: The Champs Leysin Open takes a new direction in 2014 with an even more diverse pallet of entertainment to offer both on and off the slopes. More Freestyle, More Music and More Urban Art. It’s all about having a great time in an amazing location and sharing different experiences with your friends.
