This thesis investigates the impact of planning deviations in the construction industry and proposes a BIM-based process mining approach to enhance project monitoring and efficiency. By implementing a plan-capture-analyse-reuse workflow and developing tools like the event log service, the research demonstrates how to capture, analyze, and reuse event data to identify bottlenecks and improve planning accuracy. The findings suggest the potential for continuous improvement in construction processes through the integration of modern technologies and methodologies.
