The CMAP program has three levels - Director, Executive, and President - designed to recognize Career and Membership Achievement in FBLA-PBL. At each increasing level, members complete a certain number of activities in the areas of Service, Progress, and Education. The Director level requires 10 activities focused on basic career skills and can be completed at the local level. The Executive level focuses on intermediate career development and leadership, requiring 12 activities including a resume and mock interview. The President level focuses on advanced skills and community leadership, requiring a portfolio presentation and international travel project.

- 2. Focus Activity Grow Local Chapter Membership Motivate Chapter Members Reward Members and Chapters who go “above and beyond”
- 3. Individual/Chapter Membership Recognition Program Tied to the FBLA-PBL Goals, Programs, and Partnerships Driven by members, promoted by officers and advisers Tied to and influenced by current business practices and corporate needs. Includes career development activities.

Service Activities that help members understand the link between the school, the community, and the business world Education Activities and studies that will help prepare the student for his/her future career Progress Activities that help progress the organization at the local, regional/district, state, and national levels and help students better understand how these different levels of PBL complement one another
- 5. A detailed resume with cover letter and photos of accomplishments. Samples of work from a shadow or internship program. A chart of personal goals with a timeline and action. Mock interviews with rating sheets. A personal SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) Analysis. Letters of Recommendation.

- 9. PBL members fill out an entry form and must complete 10 activities from three sections. Service – (Complete 3 activities) Required – bring a friend who is a non-member to a meeting or activity. Education – (Complete 3 activities) Required – complete a goal setting worksheet. Progress – (Complete 4 activities) Required – Complete the PBL Internet Scavenger Hunt. Required – Participate in Membership Madness. Attend three chapter meetings and Internet Scavenger Hunt Required. Other Activities: Partner with another campus organization, assist your local chapter president with an activity, interview a person who is employed in a job that interests you, complete an online personality test.
- 10. Pre-requisite - Must have earned the Director Award. Presented at the State level. Focuses on: local, regional/district, state, and national involvement intermediate career development leadership
- 11. Must complete 12 activities. Service - (Complete 3 activities) Required – Prepare at least one chapter newsletter and write a one page paper on a service organization. Education - (Complete 4 activities) Prepare a 1-2 page resume applying for the position of Future Business Executive, Future Business Teacher, or Job Interview. Job application form and resume cover letter and mock interview required. Progress - (Complete 5 activities) Participate in a competitive event – required. Other: help the elderly, participate in Membership Mania, apply for an IFL/NLC scholarship, plan an icebreaker.

Progress (Complete 5 activities) PBL International Travel Project and local or state adviser letter of recommendation required. Attend one of the National Fall Leadership Conferences, the National Leadership Conference, or the Institute for Leaders. Other Activities: draft a proclamation, public service announcement, or press release, participate in a real job interview, help prepare a local chapter directory, or find a judge for your state’s leadership conference.
