- 2. A Quick Glance With over 8 Lakh fashionistas, 2000 photographers the client is the leader of global fashion industry. The client is one of the biggest creative company having one of the largest image collection of Indian images and Videos & produced over 300+ world class models and photographers across the globe, the client came to Affle AppStudioz to develop an app that will connect the fashionistas with models & photographers. Holding one of the largest collections of photographs, videos, illustration and 3D imagery globally and shot over by 20000 photographers, the client wanted looptop to be an app that could cater users to stay updated with the latest trend, fashionistas could get a glimpse of the exclusive collection, an experience to discover and explore the fashion Industry. Our team of dedicated creatives and developers worked on it to design an innovative user experience that allows customers to interact with the product and discover exclusive content. At the time of launching LoopTop, which is part of one of the biggest Digital image repository services in World, Affle AppStudioz was approached to reimagine the concept of the App.
- 3. Challenges & Solutions Customizable Camera The main concern was to present high quality images to the users. After a carefulconsideration of a number of options, the development team focused on implementing camera enhancement features through 3rd party API integration that resolved the issue.
- 4. Challenges & Solutions Image Sizes While working on LoopTop, the challenge was to save images in smaller sizes without compromising on the quality. So, to find a solution to this problem in iOS, we tried using 70–80KB to save the image on the server. On the other hand, in the case of Android, we went for 200 KB sized pictures after compressing pictures that are as large as 9 MB.As long as quality was concerned, we met the quality standards and also managed to pull off a reduced loading time for these pictures.
- 5. Craft Design Integration The designs were created by third party but as there is a typical architectural difference between Android and iOS. Our experts recommended various App design strategies to the team such that the user experience is not comprised. There were minor difficulties in case of the Fonts that were used on the app. These were resolved by our design experts in various phases.
- 6. Integrating Custom Camera Integrating camera can be done in two ways. We had built a specialized camera application that was fully integrated in the app. Its main features are as follows:- One is to use inbuilt camera app, which is rather an easy process. - 7. Concept of Style Icon The idea of StyleIcon was that every user, who earns maximum number of likes on their images is selected as Style Icon for that month. The vision through this core feature was to enhance user engagement and focus on the branding.
