Some pairs of adjectives and adverbs are often confused... • Good and Well > Good is always an adjective; it modifies a noun or a pronoun That was a good documentary about Mt. Everest > Well is usually an adverb, modifying a verb, an adverb, or an adjective The filmmaker presented the information well. > Well is an adjective when it refers to health After the film, I didn't feel well. 2
