 Allows teacher to see where the students are, in order to assist them for the
next lesson
 Also known as a restatement of teaching objectives
- did teacher teaches the students what he/she intended to teach

Technology
 Using Whatsapp
to share the
strips of news,
which could

Questions Respondent 1
(Puan Zarina)
Respondent 2
(Puan Che Nazian)
Respondent 3
(Mr Wafi)
Opinions on
Questioning
Activities
1. Q and A session occurs actively
during the closure part
2. Not necessarily conducted at
the end of the lesson only,
because by asking questions
throughout the lesson, teachers
could identify students
understanding along the
stages of the teaching and
learning session
1. I ask all the time.
2. Both parties must
participate.
3. Call out names, so
that everyone
received equal
chances
1. Can include open
ended question so
that students can give
their own opinions
2. Questioning can be
accessed after class
session by doing
online test
2nd Objective: To identify the activities conducted by
each teachers during the closure part
Respondent 1
(Puan Zarina)
Respondent 2
(Puan Che Nazian)
Respondent 3
(Mr Wafi)
1. Should have students
involvement
1. Should have students involvement
 Important in order to know
whether they understand the
lesson or not
1. Should be something
refreshing
 Teacher create simple
activity which students
can point out important
things from the whole
lesson
3rd Objective: To identify the tips on effective and
ineffective activities, in conducting the closure part
based on respondents’ experience
Respondent 1
(Puan Zarina)
Respondent 2
(Puan Che Nazian)
Respondent 3
(Mr Wafi)
2. Time consuming
• Should not make it too long
• Induction set that is too long,
which results to not having
enough time to do closure
2. Self-reading Assignments
• Students will never read
2. Time constrain
• Do not manage to wrap up
the lesson
• Too long development
activities until affect other
subject’s time
3. Avoid getting emotional when
asking questions
3rd Objective: To identify the tips on effective and
ineffective activities, in conducting the closure part
based on respondents’ experience
1. The respondents’ closure methods differ due to the
difference in the subjects taught
2. This also affects their time management in the class as
well as the content chosen to be included in the lesson
plan
3. However, all three respondents worked towards the
same goal; to conclude the lesson properly
Closure is certainly needed in a lesson in order to;
1. Summarize the lesson
2. To assess students’ current performance
3. To test teaching technique whether it is suitable or not
4. To see whether learning objectives are achieved in the
lesson or not
