This document discusses applying coalitional game theory and an incentive-based credit system to encourage cooperation in message forwarding in vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs). It proposes a hybrid approach using both concepts. Existing forwarding techniques do not adequately address load balancing of credits among nodes. The proposed approach aims to outperform existing methods by increasing delivery ratio and reducing credit computation time. It also extends the system to apply load balancing of credits to prevent concentration on limited nodes.
