Performance Modeler within TM1 v10.1 vs earlier TM1 versions with only Architect • Automatic rule generation - for both calculations and for linking data between cubes (as compared to the Rules Editor and scripting in Architect). • Restructuring cube capabilities (add, delete or substitute dimensions without losing data – as was done in EP and contrasted to Architect’s requirement to completely replace the cube). • Ability to rename objects (as was done in EP, but not possible in Architect). • Model development efficiency (Performance Modeler enables more functionality in less time than Architect). 9
