Copilot consumer announcements tutorial
- 1. Copilot Consumer Announcements This PowerPoint provides step-by- step procedures on how to create a consumer announcement.
- 2. Step 1: Log into Copilot Center Admin On the Left-hand Side Under Consumers, Click Consumer Announcements
- 3. Parts of the Consumer Announcements page Add new announcements View existing announcements Edit, activate, and deactivate existing announcements Sort them by type (all, birthday, volunteer)
- 4. Step 2: Click Add Announcement Send to all, send to people Select an on their birthday, send to only volunteers, or only announcement people under 60. type Set start/end date of when you want the message to appear Add a title Type a message (you can change size, color…etc.) Click Save
- 5. Ta-Dah! That is all there is to it. Now you can add more announcements or at any time you can edit. To the right of each announcement there is an edit button
- 6. Birthday Announcement Example Tip: Make the message general and do not include names, because this appears to each person on their exact birthday. This message is size 6 font, bold, color purple, and aligned center.

- 8. Under 60 Announcement Example Tip: Since this is new to everyone signing in, You may want to give them directions to Push Ok to Enter Today’s Activities like I did above.
- 9. Anannouncement will have a Deactivate button or an Activate button to the right. Deactivate to make it stop appearing on the Touchscreen. Activate makes it appear on the Touchscreen.
- 10. Ifyou try to activate an announcement that has expired a message will show up on the top of the screen letting you know that it cannot be activated because it has expired. Ifyou would like to reuse that announcement just click edit and change the end date.
