This document provides instructions for managing events and sessions in an online learning platform. It outlines how to search for existing sessions, create a new webcast session using a schedule wizard, add instructors and details like date, time, location and audience. Create a session
- 3. Hover over Instructors to reveal the submenu
- 4. Select Manage Events & Sessions
- 5. Select Search for all Sessions
- 6. Search by Session ID, Location, Instructor, Event Name, Subject, or by Start Date and End Date
- 7. Click Search
- 8. To create a new session click on the Calendar icon under Event Options
- 9. Click on Create New Webcast Session and follow the Schedule Wizard
- 10. Enter the date for the session by clicking on the Calendar icon
- 11. Select the start date
- 12. Click Next
- 13. Give the session an accurate Name
- 14. Click in the Location input box to display the options pop-up
- 15. Select Webex
- 16. Leave this box unchecked
- 17. Click Done
- 18. Click Add Instructor to display the options pop-up
- 19. Search for your name
- 20. Click on your name
- 21. Set Role as Primary and leave the Confirmation Required box unchecked
- 22. Click Done
- 23. Review Date and Time for accuracy Review Occurrence and Duration length for accuracy
- 24. Click Save Part
- 26. Click Next
- 29. Click Next
- 30. Set audience Availability by clicking on the Select Criteria drop down menu
- 32. Click Add
- 33. Click Next
- 34. Leave it to System Defaults
- 35. Click Next
- 39. Click Save
- 40. If you need to cancel or delete a session due to conflicts or incorrect information, Search and find the session to be deleted
- 41. Click on the Delete icon under Options
- 42. A reason must be provided in order to delete the session
- 43. Select a reason most relevant
- 44. Click Submit
- 45. And there you have it!
