   Incoming students take reading, writing, and math assessments to
    determine readiness for college level courses.
   Developmental courses are not college credits, they are meant to
    develop the skills needed for college courses
   Examples include:
    ◦ English 1 and 3 (Writing Courses
    ◦ English 4, 5, 107 (Reading Courses)
    ◦ MTT I-IV (Math Courses, 9 total units, need depends on
      curriculum)
    ◦ CHM 1 and BIO 1 (Basically, high school chemistry and biology for
      students who didn’t have it in high school and need high school
      science as a prerequisite to another course)
   Use PDF provided in Learning Unit
   Refer to requirements of chosen program in current college catalog
   General Education transfer electives on p.41 and 42.
