- 3. Introduction What Is Learning? • Psychologists defined learning as a relatively permanent change in behavior through experiences or observation. • In other words what human beings learn as a result of interaction to environment is named as learning.

Learning Environment What Is Meant By Positive Learning Environment? • A positive learning environment is such an environment that makes the teaching learning process easy and comfortable for both teacher as well as students. • A positive learning environment means that the students feel comfortable, have sense of rapport with their teacher and peers, and believe they can be successful.

Learning Environment Importance Of Positive Learning Environment • Classroom environments are extremely important. • An environment where students do not feel accepted or respected creates a distraction from learning. • Everything from the color of the walls to the arrangement of the desks sends impressions to students and can affect the way a student learns. • Therefore ,A teacher should create a welcoming atmosphere where learning process accurse easily.

BEHAVIORIST LEARNING THEORY • Psychology is the scientific study of human behavior • What living thing does is known as behavior • This theory only focus on the objectively observable and measurable behavior and discount any independent activities of the mind • In these schools, knowledge is transferred by the teacher while the learner is a passive participant. Nevertheless, this knowledge is viewed as objective, factual and absolute.

- 17. Theories For Learning Environment 2. HUMANISTIC LEARNING THEORY • Abraham Maslow was a humanistic theorist. He explained that every person is born with a set of basic needs as; biological and physiological, safety, belongingness or love, self-esteem, and self-actualization needs. He believed that when lower needs are fulfilled, the higher level needs are emerged (Madsen and Wilson, 2006). • Schools following this theory should provide these needs of pupils. Firstly should provide the biological and physiological needs like clean air; comfort should be safe enough for pupils to feel emotionally secured. Child can feel belonging to his class-school if he is allowed to personalize his environment. That is why classrooms can allow maximum amount of independence to realize this. Further, pupils also can work on different issues, in different groups at the same time, observe what others doing, learn from one another, and make interpersonal relationships • Self-esteem requires school environment to be equal for all students; so that the child believes that every student has the same rights at school. And if he understands that nobody is surpassed by another and every student is equal, he feels being respected by others. For self-actualization, school environment must offer choices of spaces which can s to do what they aimed.

The information can be ideas, feelings and sensations or thoughts. Importance Of Better Communication Skills For Teachers • A teacher, who is able to communicate well with students, can inspire the students to learn and participate in class. • Teachers should be aware of the importance of communication skills in teaching. They must also realize that all students have different levels of strengths and weaknesses. It is only through communication skills that a teacher can introduce creative and effective solutions to the problems of the students. Thus, a teacher can enhance the learning process
