- 2. CREMA BLENDS ZANZIBAR ALTITUDE THE GIRL FROM IPANEMAThis blend is dominated by Brazilian beans grown on the plateaus that overlook the distant Ipanema Beach in Rio. The supporting origins blended create an easy drinking coffee with well-balanced acidity & sweetness. This moderately rich blend is dominated by the Colombian & ably supported by other origins all grown in altitudes above 1700m. Beans grown at this height are rare & of exceptional quality. Their dense nature comes from a slower growing period & a deprivation of oxygen that combine to intensify the flavours.
