CREMA BLENDS
ZANZIBAR
ALTITUDE
THE GIRL FROM IPANEMAThis blend is dominated by Brazilian beans grown on the plateaus that overlook
the distant Ipanema Beach in Rio. The supporting origins blended create an easy
drinking coffee with well-balanced acidity & sweetness.
ORIGINS Brazil Minas Gerais, Colombia Pitalito, Uganda Bugisu, Guatemala
Huehuetenango
TASTING NOTES hints of nuts, honey & citrus, followed by tropical fruit & a
clean aftertaste
BODY Medium FLAVOUR STRENGTH 5/10 ACID/SWEET BALANCE 50/50
IDEAL BREW This versatile blend is a great all-rounder that will please a crowd
& performs well from plunger to espresso
A crowd pleaser with a little bit of punch. This moderately rich blend is
dominated by the Colombian & ably supported by other origins all grown in
altitudes above 1700m. Beans grown at this height are rare & of exceptional
quality. Their dense nature comes from a slower growing period & a deprivation
of oxygen that combine to intensify the flavours.
ORIGINS Colombia Pitalito, Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, Uganda Mount Elgon,
Guatemala Huehuetenango
TASTING NOTES The buttery mouth-feel is complimented by hints of tropical
fruits, walnuts & a lingering chocolate aftertaste.
BODY Medium-Full FLAVOUR STRENGTH 7/10 ACID/SWEET BALANCE
40/60
IDEAL BREW Another versatile blend that performs well in many situations
particularly using plunger or pour over
Zanzibar has a rich history of trading spices & coffee and this blend highlights
the East African beans traditionally sourced from this region. Though
moderately rich, the Brazilian component helps to smooth out the blend and
intensify the chocolate notes.
ORIGINS Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, Uganda Mount Elgon, Brazil Minas Gerais
TASTING NOTES Citrus, nuts & noble spices followed by dark honey & cocoa
BODY Full FLAVOUR STRENGTH 7/10 ACID/SWEET BALANCE 30/70
IDEAL BREW Quite a versatile performer but excels as espresso
(formerly LISCIO)
(formerly CREMA DELUXE)
Three very rich flavoured origins are used in this blend. The main content is
the sweet, unique Costa Rican which is needed to balance the punch of the
Ugandan & intensity of the Robusta. They are all processed on farm using
“natural” or “honey process” methods. The result is a coffee of rich intensity
& body with mild acidity.
ORIGINS Costa Rica Tarrazu, Uganda Mount Elgon & India Merthi Mountain
TASTING NOTES Tropical fruit from the Costa Rican morphs into dark
berries & spices from the Ugandan component & finishes with a sophisticated
punch from the 20% honey processed Indian Robusta element
BODY Full FLAVOUR STRENGTH 9/10 ACID/SWEET BALANCE 20/80
IDEAL BREW Best suited to espresso. Our best blend for use in Automatic
Coffee Machines
SILVERBACK
KINGDOM ROADThe African coffees featured here all originate from not only the cradle of
humanity along the Great Rift Valley, but also the origins of the coffee bean
itself. All these beans are grown at high altitudes which produces intense
flavours to fill the palate.
ORIGINS Uganda Mount Elgon, Ethiopia Yirgacheffe & Costa Rica Tarrazu
TASTING NOTES The gentle acidity & full creamy body enhances the
praline, golden syrup & lingering cocoa notes
BODY Full FLAVOUR STRENGTH 8/10 ACID/SWEET BALANCE 30/70
