- #3: - Security - common updates to the application - Unique site features have their own security needs - Granting and tracking access to sites is not currently possible - Features - We currently support many different solutions to what are essentially a common set of needs. This makes training and support a slower, less efficient process for everyone involved. - Consistency - College branding, user interface, and content standards range broadly throughout the College website system. Some of this diversity is important to mainain, but some can severely limit the potential of the college web presence.
- #4: - Our solution is to unify the code that runs the college CMS sites into a single platform - A unit that chooses to use the platform still gets their own website, but also access to a common set of apps or other tools - This means simpler training for your unit's web team - One important common resource will be the base design, which will be responsive to accomodate a variety of devices. - Moving forward all Ag Comm CMS services will be based on this platform - Once it is up and running MOCKUPS - Just concept by Ag Comm, not actually in development
