The "i share! do you?" survey was conducted to understand the motivations and characteristics of users engaged in collaborative consumption, collecting 2150 responses primarily from urban dwellers. Findings indicate that while many participants use collaborative practices for marginal savings and fulfillment, only a small fraction report significant financial benefits, highlighting a disconnect between expectations and outcomes. Additionally, younger, tech-savvy individuals are more likely to engage in diverse practices, yet the overall trend is that many respondents do not rely on collaborative consumption as a primary income source.
