This document contains instructions and questions for an assignment interpreting graphs. Students are asked to analyze three graphs showing the relationship between time and distance traveled by a cyclist. They are to describe patterns in the graphs and make up stories matching the data. Students are also given a story about a runner, Mr. T, and asked to sketch a graph matching his race and pace over the 10 mile distance. Finally, they are shown an unlabeled distance-time graph and asked to label the axes and write a short story consistent with the data points.
