This document provides information and recommendations for first-time visitors to attend events in Greater Manchester in early July: 1) It lists several websites with information on things to do in Manchester and Salford, including festivals, galleries, museums and food/drink options. 2) It highlights some major events happening in early July like the Manchester International Festival and Not Part of festival. 3) It recommends the Manchester-Eating website to search for restaurants and shares some of the author's favorite places to eat in Manchester like East Z East and Tampopo noodle shops.

(For example, East Z East being one of my personal favorites – best Punjabi eats ever, with a meander up Chapel Walks always bringing you to good food, and either of the Tampopo noodle shops being a great place for a light lunch or dinner before an event.)
