This document provides pre-reading activities about delivering mail. It includes pictures of a mail carrier on a bicycle, a letter, and a thermometer on a cold day. Students are asked to look at the pictures and answer questions in groups. The questions ask students to identify the mail carrier's job, what he is doing, what he is riding, and the temperature in their own country. It then instructs students to put sentences into the correct order, with one group ordering a sentence about Canadian postal workers not delivering mail due to cold weather, and the other grouping ordering a sentence about French postmen using scooters to deliver mail in Paris.
