Inspired
by great
thinkers
Omar Khayyam
Omar Khayyam, an outstanding poet, he was also a
great mathematician and astronomer. As a
mathematician he wrote Maqalat fi al Mugabila which
proved to be a great authority on algebra. As an
astronomer he developed an accurate solar calendar
called Al-Tarik-Al-Jalali which is much superior to the
present Georgian calendar. He measured the length
of the year as 365.24219858156 days i.e. up to
eleven decimal places. The length of year in our time
is measured as 365.242190 days.
Leonardo Da Vinci
 Leonardo Da Vinci, A painter, a sculptor, an architect
and an engineer. Da Vinci's fascination with science
and his in-depth study of human anatomy aided him
in mastering the realist art form. All the personages
in his works are painted with great accuracy and
detail that it is sometimes said that Da Vinci painted
from the bones outward.
Steve Jobs
 Steve Jobs co-founded Apple Computers with Steve
Wozniak. Under Job's guidance, the company
pioneered a series of revolutionary technologies,
including the iPhone and iPad.
 According to Steve Jobs, ‘Design is a funny word. Some
people think design means how it looks. But of course,
if you dig deeper, it's really how it works.’
Right and
Left Brain
POWER
Design Exchange Presentation 2015
 One sided thinking can’t produce sustainable success
in today’s world economies
Designers for example who want to
take their professional place in an
age of rapidly advancing digital
tools must develop both sides of
their brains.
The right brainers and left brainers,
must work together as partners to
achieve the greatest success or even
to survive in today’s design driven
economy. Active amplifier of
creative thinking is collaborative
teamwork.
