This document presents a design method for a high-frequency, low-voltage CMOS operational amplifier (op-amp) using TSMC 0.18 micron technology, achieving a unity gain frequency of 2.02 GHz and a gain of 49.02 dB. The op-amp features a two-stage configuration with a current buffer compensation technique to optimize performance, addressing challenges in voltage and frequency scaling in CMOS technology. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the design approach, which balances parameters such as gain, speed, and power consumption.
