Will the idea benefit a large number of people or only some? Different people may have different as well as conflicting notions of a country's development. National Development involves solving all these questions

Usually, we take one or more important characteristics of persons and compare them based on these characteristics The criteria we use depends upon the purpose of comparison Thus, Income is considered to be one of the most important attributes for comparison between different countries
- 9. Total Income Average Income Per capita Income The Total Income of the country is the income of all the residents of a country. The total income of the country divided by the total population gives the Average Income. The Per capita income is the other name of Average Income
- 10. Rich Countries • Countries with per capita income of US$ 12616 per annum and above Low Income Countries • Countries with per capita income of US$ 1530 per annum or less
- 11. • When considering development people not only think of better income but also other goals like security respect for others, etc. • Similarly, we think of many other equally important goals besides income when thinking about a nation or region too. But using it at a rate faster than it can replenish would lead to over usage of the resource Renewable Resource • These resources which gets exhausted after years of use. We have a fixed stock on earth which cannot be replenished Non Renewable Resource

Consequences of environmental degradation no longer respect national or state boundaries The future of one and all is linked together Thus, steps for conservation and sustainable development should be taken So, lets join our hands together to save our nature for the future along with the development of the nation.
