Development diary prin week one
- 1. Development Diary – Print – Week One In the first week of print, the unit talking about the magazine. I started research about the magazine and I read the magazine talk about food. I read through all the magazine and I picked some images and fonts for create the magazine in the future. I was enjoyed to read the magazine because I love read the magazine. My favourite the magazine called “Take a break” because they are talk about gossips. Unfortunately, I can’t found Take a break magazine and I must choose the food magazine. Sometimes I use the internet called Issuu.com because there had more magazine. I started spotted the garden magazine because the image look so comfortable and cosy garden and I feel want to create my garden magazine. But there has another magazine called holiday and it’s make me feel want to read it. Now, I decided to choose three magazines holiday, food and garden. I must choose one magazine for final idea. I choose food instead holiday and garden. Holiday magazine had difficult for me because I must to get photo but I can’t go to holiday. I supposed be like two magazines because they are easy to get photo. I decided to choose food instead garden because the food easier than garden and I love to cooking food. I find it quite enjoyed because I feel relaxing and calm to find some magazine and read it. I choose three magazines, I started create my three-mind map to idea each of magazines. I drew mind map on the paper and idea for font, images, title, cover line and masthead. I feel more confident than my video game because the magazine had more relaxing and calm opposite video game had stress and hard to think. Anyway, I got three mind maps and I must choose one for create final idea. I decided to choose food magazine because I like to cooking food. So, I create big idea of food magazine and my idea talking about pancake because pancake event is coming on 5th of march in same day as I will be creating magazine. After I create the final idea and I had adding idea of mood board which is help me imagine what my magazine look like. I am happy because I had a lot of explain and details about cover line, masthead and image. My research and initial plan look so better from video game because my video game had some few explains and not details enough. Now in the magazine I had a lot of explain because I quite like the magazine than video game because the magazine make me feel cosy and relax. But of course, music video is still my favourite because my dream is all about create a movie. But I feel quite enjoyed to learn some skills about video game and magazine.
