Overview
• Introduction and analysis to Aperture coupled MPA
• Closed form equations are presented for designing aperture coupled microstrip antennas to
ensure impedance matching with the feed network with a low return loss over a wide
frequency band.
• The features like compactness, integrability with printed circuits, shielding of the radiating
patch from the radiation emanating from the feed structure
• Satellite communication in fields like high-speed video streaming, mobile computing, and
communications.
• Planar antennas array : 32 X 32 elements

Using correlation techniques and truncation of Bessel Function upto 7th order term we obtain the Input
Impedance at the feedline considering the presence of patch and slot can be expressed in closed
