- 2. Initial Ideas After researching into other album artwork from the same genre there was a concept that really stuck out for me. Simplicity. I liked that rather than having lots going on within the front cover and making it look busy, by having one stand out image it was a lot more effective. I want to use this aspect of simplicity within my album cover as I believe that the song I chose is very simple and pulled back therefore the cover would tie in nicely with the song.
- 3. Fonts I like the use of cursive and hand written text as it makes the album cover look a lot more homemade and urban. By using this rather than something like a serif font the album will look more inviting to an audience.

- 5. When creating my ideas for my digipak I considered the different album covers I had looked at in the past. I thought the use of simple lines and designs worked best with my genre, and keeping colours either black and white, having bright yet pastel colours or primary colours would be the most aesthetically pleasing. I didn’t believe showing the people within the music video would fit as they’re not shown as ‘The band’ which may have worked. However, as they are just characters I don’t believe they are needed to be featured on the digipak. The two photographed images (bottle and t-shirt) I wanted to merge the album name and band name into the image to make it more fluid and make it seem more urban and grunge.
