Challenges of Teaching Online
Accessibility Issues
Gaps in IT infrastructure is likely to cause issues especially in remote
regions where network coverage is inadequate. Unavailability of
devices also can contribute to educational inequity.

Acceptability Issues
Online courses have till now been considered as complimentary to
traditional education. However as this becomes the core method of
learning, acceptability by users remains a key challenge

Quality of education/ delivery issues
Reluctancy of teachers to catch on to online teaching and attitudes of
students and teachers towards online learning can be a bottleneck

Lack of evidence regarding pedagogy
Due to the recency of online learning, there is yet to be any concrete
evidence or sufficient study on the efficiency and efficacy of online
learning pedagogy.
