Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Rohani Abdul Karim said there were numerous efforts by irresponsible parties who spread false information about the country for their own interest. Therefore, she hoped Malaysians would refer to the respective embassy first on the validity of the information obtained. She said this in a statement when meeting 70 Malaysians in Dhaka, Bangladesh yesterday, in conjunction with her attendance at the Ministerial Meeting of the Commonwealth Women Affairs which started today until Wednesday.
